HOME GROWN LAWYERS TO BE ENCOURAGED TO REACH THE PINNACLE OF LEGAL PROFESSION – HON DICKSON


A new Special Adviser on Legal Matters to the Governor of Bayelsa State has been sworn-in.
He is Barrister Stanley Damabidei, who was until his elevation Special Assistant Legal 1 to the Governor.

Delivering his charge, Governor Dickson called on the new SA to relate and work closely with the office of the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in the discharge of his duties.
He expressed confidence in his ability to deliver, noting that his wealth of experience in legal matters will enable him discharge his duties effectively.
The Governor stated that the post of the special Adviser on Legal Matters became vacant following the resignation of Mr. kemasoude Wodu to pursue his legal profession.

According to him, “Mr. Damabide has been a member of the State legal team and has been performing satisfactorily and selflessly, adding his elevation was well deserved.
“Stanley Damabide has paid his dues in the legal profession” he noted.
Hon. Dickson said he was passionate about encouraging home grown lawyers to be admitted into the inner bar as well reach the pinnacle of their profession.
